SECURITY SURVEY AND RISK ASSESSMENT

MOBILE / FOOT / BICYCLE PATROL

Our patrol and inspection services include a drive-through of parking facilities and an inspection of the building exterior, including visual inspection of doors and windows plus a physical inspection of exterior doors and accessible windows.

We can also assume responsibility for building keys and entry; if desired, our officers can check interior doors, sensitive areas, equipment and lighting as well.

FOCUS Patrol coverage is a 24-hour service. Our support officers work from latest communications equipped vehicles that follow varied schedules and routes. Vehicles are clearly marked and highly visible to discourage theft and vandalism.

In the most general terms, client service duties assigned to Mobile Units are as follows:

• the protection of each client’s personnel, property and assets
• the enforcement of rules and regulations as established by the client and by the law

• the investigation of client property in response to alarm calls
• the performance of thorough property checks including all access points and other specifically defined areas and/or assets.

PARKING ENFORCEMENT

Our guards enforce the Trespass to Property act, inspect for theft, vandalism, mischief, trespassing or any other criminal activity in relation to the client’s property.

Site inspections include the physical inspection of all vehicles on client’s lots while also checking for visitor parking passes and tenant parking insignias. FOCUS guards meticulously document and prepare the necessary paperwork required for parking enforcement approval.

Guards are equipped with high profile, marked patrol vehicles, used for scheduled random patrols and spot checks. Parking enforcement allows our clients to have more control of property access as well as ensure greater comfort and safety within their communities.

However at large scale multiple day events we also provide a Command Post which features sleeping quarters, dispatch center and fully integrated close caption television system.

Depending on the venue we will provide E-bikes, all-terrain vehicles and golf carts, all of which are marked to ensure our strong but helpful presence is felt by the public.

FIRE AND VACATION WATCH

At FOCUS, we carry out an extensive procedure of the detection of fire by designated security staff. When dealing with groups of people it is very easy for situations to arise and escalate resulting in unnecessary injuries or casualties.

Our professionals responsible for fire watch are to perform the following functions:

• Patrol the building at least once per hour on a 24-hour basis until the fire alarm and or fire protection system has been restored to normal operating condition
• Notify the Emergency Services in case of fire
• Use fire-extinguishing equipment if needed
• Patrol for fire watch on each floor, level, and room including all common areas, public corridors, stairwells, storage/locker rooms, mechanical/machinery rooms, electrical, boiler and other fuel fired appliance rooms, parking garages, service rooms and offices
